Des Clarke is coming home – and bringing the laughs with him. On Saturday 12th July, Des headlines Laugh in the Park: Glasgow’s Southside Comedy Festival, live at the stunning Queen’s Park Arena.
This open air celebration takes place right in the heart of the south side, where Des was born, raised, and first learned how to launch a half-volley into a hedge.
It’s a full circle moment as Des takes to the mic on the very patch of Queen’s Park where he used to play football with his pals. Now trading in goals for gags in front of a home crowd.
Des says:
“To headline a comedy festival in the park I grew up playing in is wild. I used to kick a ball here and splash about in the duck pond. I’m buzzing to be back on my old southside stomping ground. Bring it on!”
Expect big laughs, local love, and maybe even an impromptu game of 5-a-sides. Limited tickets still available.
